What makes a good review
A good review helps other users decide whether to use a platform. Follow these principles to make your review as useful as possible.
Describe a real transaction. The best reviews cover a specific experience - buying, selling, trading, or using a service. Include what you did, how long it took, and the outcome.
Be specific about details. Mention the type of item or service, the approximate value, and the time frame. "Bought 500M OSRS gold, delivered in 8 minutes via trade" gives readers something to work with.
Rate honestly. Your star rating should match the text of your review. A 5-star review that lists three unresolved problems confuses readers and triggers the sentiment mismatch filter.
Stay current. Platforms update their fees, delivery times, and policies regularly. Base your review on a recent experience. Reviews tied to recent transactions carry more weight in Trust Score calculations.
Write in your own words. Copy-pasted or templated reviews are flagged as spam. Your experience is unique - describe it that way.
What is not allowed
The following types of content are removed during moderation:
- Fake reviews - reviews for transactions that did not happen, or reviews submitted in exchange for payment, discounts, or other incentives.
- Spam - promotional content, referral links, repetitive submissions, or irrelevant text.
- Hate speech - slurs, threats, harassment, or discrimination targeting any individual or group.
- Competitor bashing - reviews that exist solely to promote one platform by attacking another.
- Personal information - do not include email addresses, real names, payment details, or other private data about yourself or others.
- Multiple reviews - one review per site per user. Update your existing review if your experience changes.
Consequences for violations
Reviews that break these guidelines are rejected during moderation. If a review was already published and is later found to violate the rules, it is removed. Accounts with a pattern of violations may be restricted from submitting reviews or permanently banned.
Updating your review
You can edit your review at any time from the site page or your profile page. Updated reviews from new users re-enter the moderation queue. Updated reviews from trusted users go live immediately.
