Terms of Service

Tested.gg ("the Platform") is operated by Geekbux Interactive, a company registered in Sweden. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and features.

By accessing or using Tested.gg, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Account creation is available through third-party OAuth providers (currently Google and Steam). We do not store passwords - authentication is handled entirely by the OAuth provider.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OAuth accounts and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reviews, Trust Scores, or any other Platform feature is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Reviews you have submitted will be anonymized (author information removed) but may be retained for Trust Score accuracy.

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Submit fake, misleading, or fraudulent reviews. Reviews must reflect genuine personal experience with the service being reviewed.
• Manipulate or attempt to manipulate Trust Scores through coordinated activity, multiple accounts, or any other means.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, site owners, or Platform staff.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without our written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the Trust Score algorithm.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion. Restrictions may include muting (preventing new submissions) or permanent bans, and will include a recorded reason.

By submitting a review, comment, or any other content to the Platform, you retain ownership of your content but grant Geekbux Interactive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the operation of the Platform.

You represent that any content you submit is your own original work, is based on genuine experience, and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Reviews from newly registered accounts may be subject to moderation before publication. Our automated trust level system (New, Regular, Trusted) determines moderation requirements based on your review history.

We may use aggregated, anonymized review data to calculate Trust Scores, generate insights, and improve the Platform. Reviews are displayed publicly alongside your display name and avatar.

Trust Scores are generated by our proprietary algorithm and are intended as informational tools to help users evaluate gaming services. Trust Scores are not endorsements, guarantees, or recommendations.

The Trust Score algorithm considers multiple factors including but not limited to: user reviews, security practices, traffic data from independent sources, and transparency signals. The specific weights and methodology may change over time to improve accuracy.

Trust Scores are recalculated regularly and may change without notice. A high Trust Score does not guarantee that a service is safe, legitimate, or suitable for your needs. You should always exercise your own judgment when transacting with any online service.

Listed sites cannot pay to influence their Trust Score. Our editorial content (blog posts, opinions) is kept strictly separate from algorithmic Trust Score calculations.

The Platform contains links to third-party gaming services. All outbound links are routed through our redirect system for analytics purposes. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or operations of any third-party site.

Your interactions with listed sites - including purchases, trades, account creation, and disputes - are solely between you and that site. Geekbux Interactive is not a party to any transaction between you and a listed site.

Some links on the Platform are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase or sign up through them. Affiliate relationships never influence Trust Scores or algorithmic rankings. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labeled as such.

We strongly recommend reviewing the terms of service and privacy policy of any third-party site before engaging with it, regardless of its Trust Score on our Platform.

The Platform, including its design, code, logos, Trust Score algorithm, and all original content created by Geekbux Interactive, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law or these Terms.

Third-party trademarks, logos, and brand names displayed on the Platform belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Their presence does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with Geekbux Interactive.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any Trust Score, review, or other content available through the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Geekbux Interactive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: your use of or inability to use the Platform, any transaction or interaction with a listed site, unauthorized access to your account, or any errors in Trust Scores, reviews, or other Platform content.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Geekbux Interactive from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of the review system, or conduct harmful to the Platform or its users.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to: intellectual property, disclaimers and liability, and governing law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden and the applicable laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Sweden.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also be entitled to submit a dispute to the Online Dispute Resolution platform provided by the European Commission at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Platform.
