Tested.gg stores only the data needed to run your account and display your contributions. This article explains what we keep, what we skip, and how to request deletion.
What we store
Your account record includes:
- Email address - used for sign-in and notifications. Never displayed publicly
- Display name - shown on your reviews and profile. You choose this during sign-up or in settings
- Avatar - pulled from your Google profile or uploaded manually
- Linked account identifiers - stored if you link external accounts. Used to display verification badges
- Reviews - the full text of every review you submit, along with ratings, timestamps, and helpful vote counts
- Preferences - your notification settings and cookie consent choices
What we do not store
- Passwords in plain text - passwords are hashed before storage. We cannot read or recover your password
- Payment information - Tested.gg does not process payments. We have no credit card numbers, billing addresses, or financial data
- Private data from linked accounts - we access public profiles only. No inventories, messages, or friends lists
- Browsing history - we do not track which site pages you visit beyond standard server logs
How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@tested.gg from the email address associated with your account. Include your display name to help us locate your record.
Within 30 days we will:
- Delete your account and all associated personal data
- Anonymize your reviews - the text remains visible but is no longer tied to your identity
- Remove all linked account connections
- Send a confirmation email to verify completion
Account deletion is permanent. You cannot recover a deleted account or its review history. If you want to keep your reviews tied to your name, consider unlinking your external accounts and updating your settings instead.
